Marlborough College is a co-educational public school (English independent boarding school) for pupils aged 13 to 18.

Facilities

  • 25-metre, eight-lane indoor competition swimming pool, Observatory, three theatres, two lakes, a beautifully restored Cricket Pavilion, AstroTurf pitches and an international-standard athletics track.
  • Purpose-built Art School houses five open-plan studios for painting, drawing, relief and intaglio printmaking, and screen printing, as well as a photography darkroom and studio, lecture room, computer suite and a well-resourced Art library.

  • Sport is part of daily life at Marlborough. They strive for every pupil to participate actively and to have a truly positive experience, developing a lifelong interest in and lasting enjoyment of sporting activity that will foster good habits long into adulthood.
  • Music at Marlborough offers something very special. They offer a musical opportunity to every age and stage.
  • Drama forms a valuable part of community life at Marlborough. Performers work with outstanding teachers to hone their skills, rehearse pieces and, ultimately, face the challenge of performance. Drama is both exuberant and rigorous; standards are high and much is expected of those who undertake this testing but fulfilling process.
  • Art Department has an excellent track record in preparing pupils for first-choice destinations in higher education.

  • The OA Department plans and leads an overseas expedition every summer, alternating between a shorter, seven-to-ten day European trip and a three-week long-haul excursion. The 125-mile Devizes to Westminster International Canoe Race is an ultramarathon that takes place every Easter weekend and is the longest non-stop canoe race in the world. Marlborough College is a foundation member of the Combined Cadet Force (CCF). For more information CLICK HERE.

Boarding Fees: £42,930 per annum (£14,310 per term)

Scholarships

Applying for a 13+ Scholarship: In order to obtain a scholarship, it is necessary to gain a place at the College through the Entry Assessment process. Scholarships are available for: Academic, Art, Design Technology, Drama, Music and Sport. Scholarships are honorary and carry no reduction in fees but they provide access to the relevant scholarship programme.
