London Islamic School is Independent Secondary school in Non-selective for kids aged 11 to 16.
Facilities
After School Clubs – the school prefects run an after school club which involves students staying after school for an hour to unwind from a hard day at school playing table tennis, pool and other indoor games. This also provides a platform for students to attain accreditations in various courses that are delivered such as Community Sports Leadership Award, First Aid.
Annual Sports Day – they have own internal annual sports day where students are involved in multi sports competitions including cricket, rounders, badmington and football with the main event being the annual 11 a side Teachers vs Students Football match.

Educational Trips – they endeavor to enhance student learning through educational and leisure day trips or residentials.
At London Islamic School they understand that Islam teaches us to keep a fine balance between learning and leisure. This is more important for British born young people who are surrounded by a culture of leisure and entertainment.
Admission For year 7, 8 and 9 they accept students who are predicted to attain or have attained a level 4 and above in at least 2 KS2 tests, been successful for their interview. In certain circumstances they accept those who are on a level 3 in maybe one of the subjects. For Year 10 the school only accepts students who have achieved a level 5 and above for SATs in at least 2 subjects and been through the interview successfully. In some circumstances this may differ. The reason for these restrictions is the fact that the school does not have the additional resources and facilities for the student to catch up with work. They do not accept students in year 11, as they do not have the resources and facilities to cater for them at this very late stage of their education. All places offered are subject to academic, social, moral, spiritual and cultural reviews. English as an additional Language support. The school does not accept applications from SEN, as the school does not have the facilities to cater for these students.
