Kingsgate Education ltd is pleased to introduce their first school. Kingsgate School is a new family run independent specialist school, with a leadership team who have an excellent reputation for providing the highest quality of education, therapy, welfare and support. They welcome boys and girls aged 7 to 14 who have social, emotional and mental health difficulties as well as other complex needs often associated with autistic spectrum conditions and learning difficulties. Kingsgate School provides bespoke education provision for up to 16 students who have an EHCP (Educational, Health, Care Plan) and come from local families, foster placements, or local children‘s homes. They understand that students will arrive at the school with challenging behaviours or an inability to cope in a mainstream school placement. Many of them will have encountered negative educational experiences or disruption, and consequently lack confidence in their own abilities.

Each student is supported in identifying and achieving their ambitions through effective transition planning and a comprehensive careers service including support from an independent careers advisor. Students are encouraged to voice their views regarding their provision and are involved in setting their own development targets to enable them to realise their short and long term goals.Kingsgate School encourages students to develop their learning, leadership and independence skills through a well-balanced curriculum offering academic, creative, practical, vocational and physical experiences. Embedded within the fabric of Kingsgate School is the Social, Moral, Spiritual and Cultural development of each student.
