Sport plays a huge part in the life of all pupils at King’s Bruton.
Music plays a vital part in the life of King’s. The new state-of-the-art Queen Elizabeth Music School provides an unrivalled base for music at King’s.
King’s Bruton Combined Cadet Force offers pupils the opportunity to learn military skills, develop initiative, self-reliance, endurance, resourcefulness, responsibility and leadership. It also aims to engender a sense of public service.
Drama is stronger than ever at King’s with the dedicated Fitzjames Theatre and Drama Studio being crammed full with a busy schedule each term.
Every week, over 70 extra-curricular activities are on offer to pupils. The majority take place between 4.30 to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
King’s Bruton is non-selective, and applications are welcome from all pupils who have the potential to make the most of the wealth of opportunities that King’s Bruton can offer.
Fees
To reserve a place at King’s Bruton for your son or daughter, you are invited to complete the Registration Form below and pay a non-refundable fee of £100 (registrations from Hazlegrove pupils are exempt this fee). This does not guarantee a place at King’s Bruton, but it does move the process on to the next stage.
Scholarships
Scholarships and Exhibitions are awarded to recognise talent and potential and we encourage boys and girls entering the 3rd Form and 6th Form to apply for our various scholarships.The maximum value of any non means-tested Scholarship or Award, or combination thereof, is 20% of fees.
