The International Schools Partnership (ISP) is a growing group of committed colleagues in financially responsible schools around the world, all of which aim to be the school of choice in their local area. Learning is at the heart of everything they do for the students, colleagues and parents. We are committed to getting better, all the time. They are here to help the schools. They want them to get better. The best people to run the schools are the people in the schools. They call the way of working the ISP Framework. The main role is as a critical friend and advisor to our schools.ISP was founded by an experienced team of committed educationalists and commercial operators who have worked together over many years. The growing group of private schools located in the USA, Canada, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, the UK, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Malaysia, Mexico and Peru educate children and students from 2–18 years of age. We have now expanded to 50 schools delivering multiple curricula and building on local brands and reputations with around 45,000 students and 7,000 staff located across the globe.
LEARNING AT ISP
Learning at ISP is focused around the very simple and, at the same time, very powerful view on what is most important in schools. For all of them who work at the International Schools Partnership (ISP), one thing matters more than anything else. It’s this: how much our children and students learn. Their success is the success.Everything they do is focused around this one simply stated goal. They want all of the children and students to get better. Learning isn’t about being busy. It’s about whether we get better – academically, socially, emotionally and more. They want the parents to recognise how much their children are getting better. They want to work with them to help their children get better and they want them to talk about how we are getting better to others.Surprisingly, perhaps, the answer is ‘no’. Many schools don’t focus on learning, but on other things such as curriculum and resources, from technology to buildings, and more. It’s not that those other things are unimportant; we focus on them too. What does matter is whether chiildren and students are getting better. That’s why we distinguish between learning and the factors that affect learning. They take great satisfaction in our buildings and our resources, but we are only thrilled when all those factors that affect learning are actually having a real and noticeable impact on the way in which our children and students get better. That is what makes learning at ISP different.
INTERNATIONAL
They are a truly international group working in different cultures and speaking different languages. They work across countries and cultures, too, by working with each other and with other schools and communities. Schools are encouraged to collaborate and connect with each other, within regions and communities and with schools from other countries and continents. If you are excited about working in partnership with colleagues from a wide range of countries, cultures and languages then you will really enjoy being part of the International Schools Partnership.
