Welcome to the Christ-centred school where each child is safe, valued, known and loved personally. The co-educational school offers Christian education for pupils from ages 2 to 11. Early Years
They are very proud of our Early Years Foundation Stage and they want to share our excellent learning environment and learning opportunities for children with you. They have created an environment where our children make excellent progress as independent learners.
Key Stage 1
They take pride in our school’s ethos and values, whilst embracing innovation and change, to best prepare our pupils for the challenges they will meet in the future. The aim is to encourage our pupils to become independent and responsible individuals who will work together co-operatively.
Key stage 2
At Hyland House School, they prepare the children for their future. They do this by equipping them with tools for life. Our children will know a lot and will be able to do a lot. Our children will work hard and be kind to people. Our children will be inspired by others and by the world around them. Our children will be independent, resilient and able to live happily in modern British Society.
Features
Things to note
Weekly swimming lessons are provided by the local swimming baths. Students from Year 2 are to participate in this aspect of the school’s curriculum. They encourage all students to learn a musical instrument. We have employed a professional music tutors. They currently offer recorder and keyboard. Students are to bring packed lunches to school.
