Admission Details

The purpose of the school’s assessment process is to determine and clarify the needs of the individual student with a view to evaluating whether these can be met by Eton Dorney Therapeutic School’s educational approach and environment. Eton Dorney Independent Therapeutic School is a primary day special school for boys and girls aged 8- 18 years.

They are a special school which caters for the needs of pupils who have social, emotional and mental health difficulties, including associated challenging behaviours. Many of the pupils attending the school have additional special educational needs such as autistic spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit and hyperactive disorders (ADHD) which may affect their speech and language development. All of children will have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)

Places for pupils are commissioned at the school by several local authorities, Including Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, Surrey, Oxfordshire, Hampshire, West Berkshire, Wokingham, Buckinghamshire and Slough.
