Emmanuel Christian School is Independent Primary school in Oxfordshire for kids aged 3 to 11 (Gender - Mixed )

The learning is rooted in the conviction that children who are secure in who they are develop confidently in a range of intellectual virtues: courage, curiosity and creativity. We foster a community of learning, where we celebrate the process of learning and encourage every child to consider how they can use their gifts and talents to serve society.The library is a central space within the school where children learn to love stories. We know that children don’t just hunger for facts but are shaped by living ideas about people and places, both real and fictional. Regular trips to the library each week encourage children not just to learn to read but to love reading.The curriculum is broad and deep, creatively meeting and exceeding national standards. We explore curriculum through termly topics, chosen to fire children’s imagination through rich content. Our gifted staff team teach a wide range of subjects: English, Maths, Science, History, Geography, Technology, IT, Latin, Music, Sport and Chess.

It takes a village to raise a child and Emmanuel seeks to be part of that ‘village’ in supporting parents as they raise their children in faith, hope and love. Emmanuel reflects the international community of Oxford and every family who comes here, regardless of their background, comments on the beauty of its diversity expressed in a strong community.Each family brings something unique to our community and it is always exciting to discover what their contribution will be. There are always practical and creative ways in which families can help at school and we encourage every family to enrich the life of the school community through service.
