DLD College is a co-educational, independent day and boarding school for students age 13 to 19.
Super curricular programme encompasses Academic Societies which are scheduled in response to the academic aspirations of the DLD students. In addition they run a number of competitions throughout the academic year.
There are many exciting activities offered by the college to supplement and extend the excellent work done in the classroom. Co-curricular activities (CCAs) are clubs and activities at school that are outside timetabled lessons. Our co-curricular programme is built around our students needs and wants, supporting them on their academic journey.
We emphasise the importance of a student’s involvement in co-curricular activities (CCAs) as a way of building their personal learning goals outside of their core studies. We tailor our activities with individual guidance, support and care, providing students with over 50 clubs and activities to choose from, with the aim of getting students to try new things, develop new skills and build confidence within our safe school environment.
CCAs cover a range of themes, with students attending a CCA Fair at the beginning of the academic year to sign up to activities of their choice. CCAs can vary from joining our DLD Dragons Esports Gaming Team, to learning about plants in the Horticulture Club – there’s something for everyone and we are always taking suggestions from students to develop and introduce new clubs that they would like to join at DLD!
