Curriculum
The curriculum is designed to provide a broad and balanced education that meets the needs of all pupils. They value first quality teaching and through structured learning opportunities, all children regardless of their starting points, can make progress. They deliver the National Curriculum to ensure coverage and progression of skills in all subject areas. Teachers use questions to engage the children in their learning. Furthermore, children are also encouraged to ask their own questions to drive their curiosity and these are then used to shape their learning further. Visits and visitors are also used to enrich their learning experiences and also to make their learning more fun and memorable.

Chandlers Ridge Academy is part of The Vision Academy Learning Trust, who promote an inclusive ethos, in which diversity of need and ability is acknowledged and nurtured. Located in Nunthorpe, Middlesbrough, At Chandlers Ridge they value all pupils. Breakfast and After School Club
Breakfast Club is open from 7.30am – start of school (varies for each year group due to staggered times), breakfast is provided and this runs term time only. At the start of the day all children are escorted to their teaching areas. After School Club opens from the staggered end of school– 5:45pm, a snack and a drink are provided and this runs term time only. At the end of their school session, children will be collected from their teaching areas and taken to wraparound in the hall.
