Bristol International College (BIC) is a new independent sixth form college and University of London Recognised Teaching Centre located in the heart of Bristol, a thriving, multi-cultural city in the south-west of England and just over 90 minutes from London and Heathrow airport.

Facilities

  • The College is approved to teach the University of London International Foundation Programme (IFP) to international students as well as the Kings Education Art & Design Foundation Course to students from the local area. You can find full details in the Courses section of this website.
  • Courses at BIC will begin in September 2021 when we will be offering the Kings Education Art & Design Foundation Course. Summer 2022 will mark the launch of a series of two-week intensive University Preparation Courses at the University of Bath and from September 2022 we will be running the University of London International Foundation Programme on-campus in Bristol.
  • All courses offered to you by BIC combine the best of British education with a global perspective. We are committed to giving you and all our students a fully rounded experience of student life. We do this through our unrivalled wrap-around services which include a full social programme, allowing you to meet and make friends with other international and UK students.

Things to note

  • Bristol International College provides a wide range of extracurricular and weekend activities which include sports, cultural and arts options. Students may participate in many different sporting activities, such as football, dance, yoga, basketball, swimming, badminton and table tennis. These take place at a local leisure centre which is fully equipped with the latest equipment and facilities. Recreational activities include drama, arts and crafts, music and a range of social games. We also ask the students for their input in order to personalise the social programme and make it more relevant and enjoyable.
  • Students are encouraged to take advantage of the benefits of living within a safe and culturally diverse city such as Bristol, with museums, attractions and an enviable choice of restaurants and cafes catering for every taste. There is also great shopping at the Cabot
  • Circus and Cribbs Causeway shopping malls, as well as local cinema, theatre, art and music venues, all within walking distance of the boarding house. We will also arrange visits to other interesting towns and cities like Bath, Cardiff, Wells, Exeter, Oxford, Salisbury, Winchester and London, amongst others.
