Description

Bridge School Malvern has students of secondary age up to the age of 24 with an Education Health Care plan. It has two sites, the secondary school is based in Hanley Swan near the beautiful Malvern Hills. The sixth form, named Bridge Business Centre, is based in Barnards Green, Malvern. 

Facilities

  • The Bridge is a small independent school offering a creative and flexible curriculum in a nurturing environment.
  • They have a designated art and craft room for the students to enjoy a range of creative experiences. We have our own pottery wheel and kiln.
  • PE and outdoor activities are part of the timetable. This may include outdoor games, local walks, on-site obstacle course and visits to stables for horse riding. 
  • They have an independent living skills room for students to learn domestic cooking, ironing, washing, personal budgeting etc. Travel training can also be provided for older students.

Things to note

Pupils learn catering and hospitality skills in a large communal catering kitchen and dining area. They cook and serve lunch to the other pupils, staff and volunteers on a daily basis. This gives them the opportunity to learn about the benefits of healthy eating and enjoy cooking and eating new foods.
