ArtsEd Day School and Sixth Form is Independent Secondary school for kids aged 11 to 18.

Facilities

This new building includes three beautiful new dance studios, two rehearsal suites, a suite of new classrooms and an acting studio adjacent to a roof terrace with fantastic views over London.
All of the dance studios have sprung maple floors, mirrors, barres, a piano and a stereo system.
Rehearsal studios range in size from 42 to 114 m2 and have a range of fittings and equipment.

Admission Details

They audition everyone who applies to ArtsEd throughout the year. The majority of pupils join the school in either Year 7 or 12, although they also welcome pupils into Years 8 and 9. As they start the curriculum for some of key GCSE courses in Year 9, they are unable to accept applications for Year 10.

Prospective pupils spend a day in the school with the other applicants, allowing them to get a taste of life here, as they get to know them. On the audition day, everyone takes part in the following:

ice-breaking sessions
vocational skills workshops
written tests in English and Maths
an individual audition
an interview with a senior member of staff (to which parents are invited)

References from the applicant’s current school and past school reports are also taken into consideration.
