Facilities
Early Childhood
To encourage play and curiosity in our youngest students, the Early Childhood programme is situated in a secure, dedicated space where the children learn to become independent and build their confidence.Designed specifically for children aged two to six, the space includes a designated playground, children's garden and outdoor area. Spending time outside everyday is an important part of their development. All classes are taught by a qualified teacher and experienced teaching assistant offering the youngest students a valuable introduction to learning at an early age.
Lower School
The young students begin to learn through play, exploration, and lessons that are both stimulating and fun. The qualified and experienced teachers and specialists use the most effective approaches to help students develop positive skills, understanding, values, and attitudes. They take full advantage of our beautiful 128-acre campus and all the outstanding facilities and outdoor opportunities it has to offer. As the students come to us from both local and international families, we are proud to be able to say that all are prepared for the opportunities that lie ahead.Our world-class curriculum is built on the principles of the Responsive Classroom. Middle School
The Middle School provides a responsive and nurturing atmosphere to help students take more initiative, and encourage them to seek knowledge and think independently. We help students develop the skills necessary to achieve academic excellence while also engaging in critical thinking. We aim for our students to become well-rounded individuals and encourage them to actively participate in their community. They align the curriculum to rigorous standards, preparing students to undertake the renowned International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, and/or the Advanced Placement (AP) Diplomas in High School. The goal is to inspire every student to love learning and, in doing so, reach their ideal academic and social self.
High School
High school students from ACS move on to attend some of the best institutions across the globe. SPORTS
With an expert team of more than 70 dedicated coaches and world-class facilities on our beautiful campus, we are able to deliver an exceptional student experience. We have something for everyone, whether a member of one of our football teams or representing the school at Varsity level.For elite athletes, our Varsity teams regularly compete for podium positions at the prestigious tournaments and other international school competitions with several students awarded sport scholarships to colleges in the US.
CO-CURRICULAR OFFERINGS
They offer a broad and exciting programme of after school activities that encourage children to develop new skills and talents, and find their passion outside of the classroom. They believe that co–curricular activities are an important part of a child’s education and encourage each child to really take advantage of what’s on offer.Lower school has competitive sports teams, Cougars, in football and swimming and any child can try out for these. They have competitive events with a number of local schools and occasionally enter a team into basketball and netball competitions.
