Features

  • Mallaig to Inverie Cruise: Mallaig is a small fishing village at the end of the A830 road travelling from Fort William. There is a regular train and bus service from Fort William as well as the Jacobite Steam train that runs twice a day in the summer months.
  • Inverie to Mallaig Cruise: Inverie is the only village on the Knoydart Peninsula, which is known as ‘Europe’s Last Wilderness.’ Knoydart has about 120 permanent residents and with no road access, the ferry service is their only link to mainland services.
  • 1 Hour Wildlife Cruise: If you do nothing else whilst visiting Mallaig you must do this. Our One-Hour Wildlife Cruise has become the best attraction in Mallaig! We leave the harbour with the isles of Skye, Rhum, and Eigg to our left. Crossing the entrance to Loch Nevis, we travel to Green Island on the Knoydart Peninsula. The waters are frequently visited by a variety of birds, seals, porpoises, dolphins, whales and basking sharks.
