Wellsfield Equestrian Centre, located in Central Scotland, is a fully licensed and insured riding school and horse livery yard. The centre houses 25 riding school horses and ponies, plus 25 livery horses, all cared for to high standards by British Horse Society (BHS) qualified instructors, including BHSAI and BHSPT certifications. Lessons are available seven days a week in classes of up to six riders or as private one-to-one sessions. New riders require a 30-minute assessment before joining a class, and lessons are available for children aged six and above. Class lessons include mounting and dismounting instruction and riding skills appropriate for the group, while private lessons are tailored individually. Pony rides are offered year-round for children aged three and above, led by experienced handlers along a short trek from the equestrian centre office, with Shetland ponies for younger children and larger ponies for older children. Adults may accompany rides on foot.
Lesson prices include £30 for a one-hour group lesson, £35 for a 30-minute private one-to-one lesson, £27 for a 30-minute private shared lesson for two people, £50 for a one-hour private one-to-one lesson, and £44.50 for a one-hour private shared lesson for two people.
