Wells Art Contemporary: Wednesday 8th October - Saturday 1st November. 09:00 - 10:00. Now in its 13th year, Wells Art Contemporary (WAC) is an international exhibition of innovative contemporary art in the stunning setting of Wells Cathedral.
Lunchtime Organ Recital Joseph Wic: Thursday 9th October, 13:05 - 14:00. Hear masterpieces for the organ from across the ages on Thursdays throughout the year at 1.05 p.m., in the Quire of Wells Cathedral.

There is no charge for people who wish to come into the Cathedral to pray, attend a service, or light a candle.

Cathedral Card and admission passes:

Standard: £31.50pa for Single & £56.50pa for Joint.
Local: £21pa for Single & £36pa for Joint.

Re-use your ticket: Standard admission tickets include re-entry for 12 months from date of purchase.

By Bus: Regular bus services to and from Wells operate from Bath (173/174), Bristol (Mendip Xplorer, 376) and Shepton Mallet (174).
By Car: From M5 North – take M4, M32, A37, A39. From M5 South – leave at Junction 23 and take A39. From South East – take A303, A36, A361, A371.
By Train: The nearest train station to Wells is Castle Cary, from which there are direct services to London Paddington and the West Country. The station is approximately 13 miles from Wells, with a journey time of just over 25 minutes. Taxis are available at Castle Cary train station.
By Coach: The Coach Park is located in Princes Road, a Pay and Display long stay car park. Signage is plentiful from whichever direction you enter Wells. Plan your journey with Trainline.
By Air: Take the A1 Bristol Flyer bus from the airport to Bristol Bus and Coach Station. The bus is a 24/7 service, leaving the airport approximately every 20 minutes during the day. The journey takes around 40 minutes.From there, transfer on to the 376 Mendip Xplorer (Bay 18) to Street via Wells (adult single ~£2.00). The service is fairly regular (approximately 1 bus per hour) between 7.00 a.m. and midnight.
