The High Wycombe Treasure Trail is a fun, self-guided treasure hunt that takes you on an exciting adventure through the historic town of High Wycombe. Perfect for families, friends and explorers aged 6 to 106, this interactive walking trail combines sightseeing with clever clue-solving. It’s a great way to uncover local history while searching for hidden treasure.
This 2.5-mile circular route takes around 2.5 hours to complete at your own pace. Starting near the swimming baths, the trail guides you through both rural and urban parts of the town, revealing High Wycombe’s past as a famous furniture-making centre. Along the way, you’ll solve clues hidden on buildings, monuments and permanent features to track down the legendary Highwayman’s Hidden Hoard.
The Treasure Trail costs £9.99 per Trail, which covers the whole group playing together. The same Trail can also be used for birthday parties, working best in small teams of around 4–5 people, with adult support recommended for younger children.
