Exotic Animals: They have around 40 diﬀerent species of animal in Plantasia Tropical Zoo with over 10% of those having some conservation concern. The most notable of these being the Egyptian Tortoise (Testudo kleinmanni). Here at Plantasia, we also breed a number of vulnerable and endangered species which include reptiles (Crested gecko), amphibians (Axolotl) and ﬁsh (Manyara Tilapia). Giants of the Past: Discover the Giants of the Past through the magic of Augmented Reality (AR)! Step into a prehistoric world where massive creatures roamed the planet. Look up to discover the life-size replica of Sarcosuchus Imperator, the largest crocodile ever, looming over the watering-hole pond where Koi Carp swim below.
Jungle Escape: Take part in the World’s biggest 60 minute Escape Game! In partnership with The Escape Game Swansea, Jungle Escape has been developed to be one of the biggest and most unique escape experiences in the World. This social, immersive, fun experience is certainly one for the bucket list!
Animal Experiences: The zookeeper will then introduce you to a variety of our smaller, friendly animals for an up-close experience with plenty of fun facts about the species. The animals will include a selection such as a bearded dragon, Egyptian tortoise, African millipede, Madagascar hissing cockroach, corn snake and giant African land snails.
Zookeeper Experience: Join an expert zookeeper on a tour of Plantasia Tropical Zoo’s animal world. You will learn about each of our species, and what the role of a zoo keeper entails. One highlight of the experience is the chance to feed the animals at the zoo including: meerkats, tortoises, monkeys, and more.
Croc Feeding: Wales’ Only Croc Feeding Experience. NEVER SMILE AT A CROCODILE! You’ll enter ‘Fort Crox’ and get up close and personal with our Caiman Crocodilian friends, where you can safely feed them their favourite foods.
