Exmoor Owl & Hawk Centre and Exmoor Riding plus our Bed & Breakfast in this unique historic setting of our 15th century National Trust, open-hall Manor House of 1436, pre-dating most properties in this beautiful hidden valley of Porlock Vale, within the Holnicote Estate.
The Centre is open to small groups, families, couples and individuals for a moment of quiet and reconnection with nature.

We believe in reconnecting with nature, and being at one with our natural environment, embracing the concept of an energy connected holistic lifestyle.
The Centre is world renowned and we have one of the finest collections of flown owls in the world, run the 15th Century Farmhouse B&B, and a small individualised riding centre, where the horses are barefoot, managed holistically, and work softly connecting through energy and using gentle horsemanship training.

Education, Health & Connection
At Exmoor Owl & Hawk Centre and Exmoor Riding they work closely with our local educational colleges and schools. They regularly have students studying Animal Care, Equine Management and Countryside Management courses. They help students develop their interactive skills with the animals, our birds of prey and owls, and independence and initiative skills.
Taster Owl Experience
Wildlife Garden where you can browse, relax and meet the owls. Rod or Alex will then show you to the medieval Owl Barn where you will fly our small owls in the security of the barn and discover their features of adaptation and hunting techniques. Each owl has its own personality, and there is plenty of time with each bird for discussion and chat. A beautiful space, amazing flying and fantastic photographic and video opportunities
Dark Skies British Owl Experience
Rod or Alex will take you to the Owl Barn where you will fly three of our British Owls in the security of the barn and discover their features of adaptation and hunting techniques. Each owl has its own personality, and there is plenty of time with each bird for discussion and chat.
Owl and Hawk Extravaganza
You will be taken to the Owl Barn by Rod or Alex, where you will fly seven incredible birds of prey to your gloved hand, and immerse yourself in the wonderful world of owls and hawks in this experience, including a bonus of flying a Harris Hawk to your gloved hand.
