Description

Pirate Walks is one of Bristol’s premier attractions, offering an exciting and immersive real-world historical experience along the city’s harbourside. Led by Pirate Pete, it brings Bristol’s dramatic pirate past to life in a fun, theatrical, and educational way. The experience is suitable for families, visitors, and groups looking for something different to do in the city.

The guided walking tour lasts around 1 hour and follows a flat, wheelchair-accessible route around the quays. Along the way, visitors discover Bristol’s turbulent 17th- and 18th-century pirate history, hearing stories of pirates and swashbucklers at historic harbour-side locations. Tours can be tailored to your group, are fun and interactive, and meet at the Black Beetle Statue, Anchor Square, near the Bristol Aquarium.

Adult tickets cost £12.50, children cost £6.50, and a family ticket (2 adults + 2 children) costs £30.00. Tours normally run at 2.00 pm on Saturdays and Sundays, with other times available by appointment for groups of 10 or more. Pirate-themed birthday parties, private group events, and walk/cruise evenings with a pirate boat on the River Avon are also available, with pricing provided on enquiry.

Pirate Walks offers a lively mix of history, storytelling, and entertainment in a central Bristol location. The engaging performances make learning about the city’s past fun and memorable. It’s an ideal attraction for families, tourists, and groups wanting an interactive and character-filled experience in Bristol.
