Hawkridge Bird of Prey Centre is a family-run, private bird sanctuary located near the scenic Jurassic Coast in Exmouth, Devon. Set close to Haven’s Devon Cliffs holiday park, the centre offers a quiet, personal experience with birds of prey. It is open strictly by appointment, offering visitors exclusive, guided access.

Visitors can enjoy a 1-Hour Handling Session to get close to owls and raptors, learning about their origins and training. Families can take part in a Family Flying Experience with hawks, buzzards, falcons, and eagles. Teenagers can join the Junior Falconer experience, working alongside expert falconers.

Prices are £45 per person for the 1-Hour Handling, £225 for a family of four, and £80 for the Junior Falconer session.

1 Hour Handling: Why not take an hour out of your busy day to relax and get up close and personal with a wide variety of raptors and owls. You not only get to handle these wonderful birds but you learn about them, their origins and how we train them. This session is ideal for those who just love raptors/owls or even those with phobias that want to face their fear!
Family Flying Experience: Family time is all about doing things together and enjoying each others company, and what better way to spend quality time with the family than out in the fresh country air participating in the ancient sport of the kings. Your afternoon will start with and introduction to the birds we have at the centre including owls, hawks, buzzard, falcons and the magnificent eagles.
Junior Falconer (13 – 17 year olds): This experience is designed to assist those younger members of the family obtain an insight in to this magnificent sport. As a junior falconer you will work along side our falconer and other members of the team.
