Gypsy Wood Park is a magical 20-acre woodland adventure park near Caernarfon in North Wales, designed for families and young children. It’s a perfect place for a fun-filled day where kids can explore, play and let their imagination run wild.

The park is packed with attractions including Woody’s train ride, a Fairy Forest, a maze, garden railway and hands-on activities like mini diggers, trampolines and pedal go-karts. Children can meet friendly farm animals such as goats, alpacas and donkeys, explore tunnels, enjoy a musical treehouse, try duck racing and play in large adventure playgrounds with slides, climbing frames and a mini zip wire. There are also indoor play areas and themed experiences like fairy hunts and gypsy caravans.

Ticket prices start from £10.50 for children, £11.50 for adults and £42 for a family pass, with additional attractions like Woody’s Train costing £2.50 per ride. Gypsies Maze: Does your family have what it takes to navigate its way through our maze of mayhem? Finding your way out will be lots of fun!
Woody’s Railway: All aboard for the Gypsy Wood Express! You can enjoy a magical ride on Woody’s Train through part of the park for almost ¾ km. The train and track has been specially made for us here at Gypsy Wood Park by Cromar White, and it’s a 10¼” gauge tear drop railway with turn table.
Outdoor Garden Railway: Gypsy Wood’s ‘G’ scale garden railway is a long established favourite with visitors of all ages, having been built at the beginning in 2004 and substantially expanded and modified since then. A variety of model trains running on over half a kilometre of track. They travel over and under bridges, go through tunnels and pass lots of buildings that are all placed in a beautiful garden setting which includes a quarry, mountain railway, large central station and a long bridge over a pond.
Mini Digger: Can you master or Mini Digger attraction? Big kids and little ones aged 4+ will love taking the controls and getting digging!
Indoor Play Area: Our small indoor play area features a couple of slides, coin operated diggers and a fun construction zone for little builders.
Trampolines: Can you reach the stars? Of course you can with our in-ground trampolines. Come and see how high you can jump!
Musical Tree-house: Make some magical music in our fantastical melodic hide-away. You’ll find drums, bongos, maracas, croaking frogs and more in the musical tree-house.
Magnetic Fishing: There’s nothing fishy about this fun game – use the magnetic poles to see if you can catch some colourful fish.
Tunnels: Play hide-and-seek and explore underground in our fantastic new fun tunnels. Who will be first out of the other side?
Didi Cars: A fun activity for all the family.
Meet the animals: Gypsy Wood Park is home to lots of friendly animals who love living here — and they are always excited to meet new friends!
Willow Walk: Follow the giant’s huge footsteps through the Willow Walk, all the way to the lakeside picnic area and lakeside walk. Keep your eyes open as you go, and don’t forget to stop and sit in the Giant’s Chair — if you dare!
Pedal Go-Karts and Ice Cream Fun: Race around our pedal go-kart track, complete with a fun climbing spider web for little adventurers to enjoy. You will also find our yummy ice cream hut here — the perfect treat after all that pedalling!
Meet the Fairy Princess: Gypsy Wood’s resident Fairy Princess. Come and pay her a visit to see if she can grant your wishes.
Duck Racing: On your marks, duck, GO! You’ll have to find your muscles to pump, pump, pump the water before shooting your duck from the starting blocks. Who’ll be the winner!
Fairy Hunt: Come along for our magical Fairy Hunt, see how many of our beautiful fairies you can find.
Play Area & Mini Zip Wire: Children of all ages will love our brilliant play area. The big castle-style play centre has slides, a rope bridge, climbing wall and swings. Why don’t you come and have a go on our Mini Zip Wire!
Gypsy Caravans: Live the Gypsy life and enjoy playtime in these beautifully painted model gypsy caravans.
Momos the Mini: Paint the car area, add your own design to a real car!
