Description

Foxton Canal Museum is located at the historic Foxton Locks in Leicestershire, a site shaped by impressive canal engineering. Housed in the reconstructed boiler house that once powered the Foxton Boat Lift, the museum tells the story of the Lift, Locks and the people who worked here. The surrounding area also offers scenic canal-side walks, cafés, pubs and picnic spots.
