Located on the outskirts of Edinburgh in Ratho, EICA Ratho (Edinburgh International Climbing Arena) is Europe’s largest indoor climbing centre, providing an ideal destination for both seasoned climbers and beginners. The venue features towering lead walls, extensive top-rope climbing, and versatile bouldering areas, making it accessible to climbers of all skill levels. EICA Ratho is renowned for its world class climbing walls and competition-certified speed walls. It also boasts two separate bouldering rooms and the new Bouldering Zone, which was installed in Spring 2025. The Clip ‘n Climb zone is another highlight, offering fun climbing challenges for families and younger climbers.

For Climb or Bouldering Only, the cost is £15.25 for adults and £7.50 for juniors (under 16). If you're visiting the soft play area (Monday to Thursday), casual visits are free for babies aged 0 - 5 months, while it costs £1.10 for 6-12 months (60 minutes) or £1.75 for 6-12 months (90 minutes).
