Alien Rock, opened in 1994, is the original climbing wall, featuring a dedicated top rope and lead climbing area with up to 200 routes for climbers of all levels. The wall integrates a diverse range of climbing surfaces into the vaulted ceiling of a former church, with many features handcrafted on-site, creating a truly unique experience. Climbers come for the welcoming atmosphere, distinctive setting, and friendly team. The famous heating system ensures a warm, cosy environment during even the coldest winter months. As Scotland's first dedicated indoor climbing centre, Alien Rock has provided a fun, exciting, and friendly venue for indoor climbers since 1994. Indoor climbing is suitable for all ages and abilities, from complete novices to experienced climbers, whether visiting individually or with a group of friends.
