Beach and Swimming: Join us for the day at the UK’s largest inland beach and have a splash in South Lake or top up your tan on the sand. With grass area surrounding the beach, there is plenty of space for you to set up for the day with only a short walk to all activity areas. Fancy a bite to eat? Head over to our Beach Shack next door for some tasty food or grab an ice cream from our Ice Cream Hunt just behind the beach.
SUPs and Kayaks: Explore the clear waters of South Lake on a SUP, Single Kayak or Double Kayak! Test your balance on a Stand Up Paddleboard! You can choose to kneel or stand to enjoy your water adventure with a safety brief given prior to your session by one of our Activity Team. Buoyancy aides are provided but if you wish to wear a wetsuit, you will need to bring your own. Relax as you glide across the water in the most comfortable way to explore our South Lake. Single Kayaks seat one person and Double Kayaks seat two.
Boat Hire: Choose from a Swan Pedalo, Electric Mini Port or Row Boat for your next adventure! Our Electric Mini Port boats are perfect for the younger members of the family and operate in a special area of the lake. Put your legs to the test on one of our Swan Pedalo’s and paddle across the waters of South Lake. With room for two peddling and two relaxing at the back, plus a furry friend or two, what a perfect way to spend the day. Our row boats are a perfect way for the family to relax and enjoy a session on the water.
Pirate Cove Mini Golf: Test your skills on our 9-hole Mini Golf course – can you get a hole-in-one? Want to stay dry and enjoy a test of accuracy? Book the whole family a round with both adult and children’s clubs available
Pedal Karts: Hire on our Pedal Karts – the ultimate way to explore the Park. Our 4 person Pedal Karts seat two adults in the rear, with easily adjusted seats with the pedals, steering wheel and brake. Children can then sit in the front two seats and enjoy the ride! If you’re wanting to stay dry and enjoy a land based activity, this is perfect for you. Explore the Park taking in the local wildlife whilst putting your legs to the test!
Climbing Wall: Come and test your skills on our Climbing Wall and see how high you can go – can you reach the sound buzzer at the top?
BBQ Hire: Fire up the perfect day out at one of our picturesque BBQ areas, set against the stunning backdrop of our South Lake. Choose your ideal grilling area, gather your favourite foods and enjoy every moment as you cook, relax and soak up the sun.

Facilities

Food & Drinks: We serve hot & cold food and drink from our Beach Shack, Café, and Ice Cream Hut. Please note, selected eateries will be open at certain times of the year.
Toilets: Our toilets are open during business hours. We have two toilet blocks located at each end of the Park, with a disabled toilet located at the Main Entrance.

FROM THE NORTH: From M5 take Junction 11a, follow A417 direction Cirencester. This road becomes the A419. Head south on the A419, take the B4696 exit towards Ashton Keynes/ South Cerney/ Cerney Wick/ Down Ampney. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit over the dual carriageway. Go straight over the next roundabout to follow Spine Road East/ B4696. Continue to follow Spine Road East, go straight over the cross roads. After approx 3 1/2 miles turn right onto Spratsgate Lane. Follow the road for half a mile. The entrance to Cotswold Country Park & Beach is on the right.
FROM THE SOUTH: From M4 take Junction 15, follow direction Swindon, Cirencester. Turn off the A419 at the B4696 exit towards Ashton Keynes/ South Cerney/ Cerney Wick/ Down Ampney.
