Cadbury World is a popular family attraction in Birmingham that offers a self-guided journey through the history and magic of chocolate.   • Bull Street: Travel back in time to our recreation of Victorian Bull Street. You’ll meet Quaker entrepreneur John Cadbury, and find out where the Cadbury business began. See what would have been for sale in Richard Tapper Cadbury’s drapers, and John Cadbury’s tea dealer shop back in 1824, and take some photos of the very first Cadbury products.
  • Aztec Jungle: Travel 1000 years back in time to Mexico. Discover the origins of the cocoa bean, amidst trees and waterfalls, deep in the ancient tropical rainforest. But be warned - Aztec Emperor Montezuma is very protective of his cocoa!
  • The Cadbury Story: John Cadbury tells you the inspiring story of his early struggles to establish the business and introduces his sons Richard and George. Together the Cadbury family explain how their Quaker beliefs led them to build a new and better kind of factory, in a green-field site away from the smoke and grime of the city.

  • Advertising Avenue: Our newly refurbished Advertising Avenue zone will take you on a trip down memory lane, featuring iconic campaigns from across the decades from Creme Egg Goo to dancing eyebrows and the iconic Cadbury drumming gorilla.
  • Journey to Europe: Watch as our mini theatre presentations tell you about the arrival of chocolate to Europe. Learn how Hernán Cortéz brought the wonderful cocoa bean back to our continent and how chocolate quickly became the drink of choice in high society.
  • Cadbury World shop: Our brand-new shop has now burst open it’s chocolatey doors to unveil our biggest shop to date, with the largest range of Cadbury products than any other store in the UK.
  • African Adventure Play Area: TAKE ON THE HEIGHTS OF OUR AFRICAN ADVENTURE PLAY AREA. Up to three storeys high with tube slides, climbing zones and rope bridges, there's plenty of fun to be had in our African Adventure Play Area. This area is only suitable for children aged 5-14 years.
  • Green Screen: Take a soak in the Flake bath, jump out of an Easter egg and surf on a Cadbury Dairy Milk bar! Choose from a selection of backdrops for your green screen photo experience, with photos available to purchase at our photo collection points.

  • From the North West (M6 southbound) or mid-Wales (M54 eastbound) At M6 Junction 8, take the M5 to Junction 2 and follow brown signs for 6 miles through to Cadbury World.
  • From the South West (M5) and South Wales (M50) Leave M5 at Junction 4 (A38) and follow brown signs 7 miles through to Cadbury World.
  • From the South-East (A34 and M40), London and the South-east (M40) After Junction 16 of M40, continue in middle lane on to M42, signposted towards M5/Redditch. Leave M42 at Junction 2, (please avoid leaving the M42 at Junction 3 as this is a less straightforward route using narrow country lanes) cross over motorway and continue straight ahead for 6 miles to Bournville and Cadbury World. When you follow the signs to Bournville, look out for the brown signs to Cadbury World.
  • From the North-East and Yorkshire (M1 southbound) Join A42/M42 at M1 Junction 23A and follow M42 right the way round the south-western corner of Birmingham to leave motorway at Junction 2 (please avoid leaving the M42 at Junction 3 as this is a less straightforward route using narrow country lanes) . Cross over motorway and continue straight ahead for 6 miles to Bournville and Cadbury World. There is some brown signage to Cadbury World from this direction.
  • From the East of England (e.g A14 or M6/M1 northbound from home counties) Leave M6 northbound at junction 6, to go on to the A38 through the city centre tunnels. Follow brown signs to Cadbury World and signs to Bournville.
