Over 11 hectares of species-rich grassland are cared for as a traditional hay meadow, with funding from Defra. Green hay from Ashton Court Estate has helped enhance grasslands at 'The Royals' fields, where green-winged orchids now grow.

The estate is home to wildlife such as orchids, great crested newts, and fish like eels and trout. Rangers and volunteers work on conservation projects, like clearing invasive plants and managing trees.
