Nursery and Pre-Prep
Starting here in the Nursery and Pre-Prep, pupil wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do and they want the children to be happy, confident, curious and importantly, kind. They work together as a team with staff, parents and pupils to ensure that your child’s first steps on the ladder of education take place in an atmosphere of warmth and kindness with lots of exciting lessons to be learned and discoveries to be made. All children are individuals and we celebrate their strengths and support them on their journey to ensure that they begin to see that anything is possible.

The Pre-Senior Baccalaureate curriculum and bespoke Wensum Award ensure the acquisition of subject knowledge goes hand in hand with the acquisition of life skills. Within the superb facilities they also have the own Outdoor Learning Centre, where outside lessons and learning is consolidated in the outdoor classroom.Langley Prep School prepares children for the next stage of their education, which enable them to go out into the wider world and make the most of it in terms of their contribution to others. They vary the programme each term to ensure that we are providing something for everyone. The Hobbies programme currently includes Football, Choir, Tennis, Yoga, Drama, Fun Dance. At the end of each term a new brochure goes out, from which parents select the following term’s Hobbies for their little ones. For summer 2021, they are planning Cooking and Flower arranging too.
Sport at Langley
Here at Langley, they pride ourselves on creating a sport environment in which all pupils are able learn, strive and succeed. They value the role they have, and what sport offers in terms of developing a love of movement and setting the foundations for life-long engagement in physical activity. Pupils get the opportunity to develop world-ready skills such as teamwork, communication and leadership and when things don’t go our way on the sports field we encourage pupils to be reflective, have a growth mindset and show resilience as they bounce back from set backs.
