Things to note

  • Studies in Computer Science and Business develop technical skills. Creativity is encouraged through Art and Drama, whilst Science builds practical knowledge and an inquisitive mind. European languages. A range of PE and sporting activities are accessible, both within school time, and on an extra-curricular basis.
  • The majority of boys who join in Year 7 make exceptional progress and proceed naturally to university degree courses at the age of 18. In 2018, students achieved an 82.6% Grade 4+ GCSE pass rate in English and Maths.

Selection Criteria: Selective

Admission Details

Entrance Exam: All students must sit an entrance examination in Mathematics and English. All candidates will be expected to bring their pen and pencil but they will not need a calculator. The examinations will be spread over the course of a morning and boys will be given a break. The entrance examination for this year will take place in Saturday 7th January 2023. Information on the exact timings, equipment and other arrangements will be sent to parents following the completion of the registration process. Candidates wishing to apply for entry in other years will also need to sit examinations in the core subjects. This is to determine their academic standard within key areas of the National Curriculum.

Interview: If your son passes the entrance exam, he will be invited to attend a formal interview with the Head Teacher. Parents are invited to be present. The school will also obtain a confidential report from your son’s current school. A student will only be offered a place if the Head Teacher is satisfied that he has met all the entrance criteria. In order to maintain small class sizes entry to the school is competitive and based on academic performance and interview.

Fees

Fees for this academic year (2022 – 20223 are £7,450.00 per annum. Fees are reviewed each year. Any increase is usually decided by the Trust in May. Parents are asked to pay fees by Direct Debit in single payment, three termly, or ten monthly instalments. A discount of £200 will be given to parents who pay the entire academic year’s fee in full by 15th  September 2022.

If you have more than one child in the school, the first Child will pay the full fee, the second child will receive a 15% discount and subsequent siblings will receive a 25% discount. If your child is joining from Manchester Muslim Preparatory School, your child will receive a discount on fees of £1000 (subject to terms and conditions) for the year.
