Facilities

Pre School
Fulneck School has been an excellent centre for education for over 250 years. The Pre-School benefits from our many years of educational experience, meaning we know how to balance learning and development with exploration, play & imagination to give your child a well rounded start & prepare them for school life. The ethos of 'Work hard, be kind' extends through every area of our school & in Pre-School it means happy, sociable, caring children who love to learn. Fulneck Pre-School is based in Pudsey, the Pre-School is connected to Fulneck independent private day & boarding school.Fulneck Pre-School sits in its own recently refurbished setting, with 4 separate rooms including a dedicated classroom, a play room, wet play room & kitchen/baking area.

Junior School
They are values driven and in particular, our two values of ‘work hard’ and ‘be kind’ are very visible from the moment you arrive.  The children study a knowledge-rich curriculum and our talented teachers bring it to life by creating memories that will last a life-time.  We also focus on our remaining values of ‘be useful’ and ‘go well’ by putting emphasis on serving our community and being mentally and physically fit. The house system ensures that all children contribute to our happy school environment by taking on roles and responsibilities from gardening and recycling to mentoring and raising money for charity. They have small class sizes, enabling teachers to give precise feedback and next steps to children throughout the day, thus accelerating their academic performance.  With our small numbers, all the children are highly visible, meaning our skilled staff and friendly children make the school have a real family feel.

Senior School
In the inclusive environment, we provide an outstanding educational experience for our pupils. Irrespective of ability, Fulneck pupils are challenged to achieve their potential, grasp their opportunities and strive for greatness. In short, they are nurtured to develop into successful and compassionate young adults who can take the 21st century by storm. With our diverse cultural mix within the boarding community, the Senior School offers a truly international experience which prepares our young people for life beyond school. In our classrooms, they highly qualified, dedicated teachers deliver teaching and learning which is at the cutting edge of education. They are never complacent; they constantly strive to improve the quality of the classroom experience and the learning potential of our students, culminating in improved GCSE results year on year. Challenge, enquiry and engagement are key to every Fulneck lesson and inspirational teaching is an expectation.

Sixth Form
The Sixth Form years are best seen as a co-operative partnership between the teachers and students, with both working together to secure the very best academic results and outcomes. They are ambitious for our pupils, supporting many to achieve places at top UK universities. They are large enough to offer a wide breadth of A-level subjects along with a number of Level 3 BTEC courses, but small enough to provide an unrivalled level of individualised care and guidance. Small class sizes mean that our Sixth Form students receive the tailored support they need, when they need it.
