Description

Brighton College is an independent, co-educational boarding and day school for boys and girls aged 3 to 18 in Brighton, England.

The school has three sites: Brighton College (the senior school, ages 11 to 18); Brighton College Preparatory School (children aged 8 to 13, located next to the senior school); and the Pre-Prep School (children aged 3 to 8).

Facilities

  • The pupils enjoy professional rehearsal, recording and performance facilities and a Fazioli piano. The 15 practice rooms with pianos enable pupils to refine technique.
  • The College also benefits from two dance studios: the Montague performance space and a traditional and suitably large Great Hall.
  • Boarding houses have been designed to ensure a sense of community and comfort during and after school.
  • They have numerous social areas around the school for pupils to enjoy between lessons. As well as enabling pupils to socialise, these spaces are regularly transformed into meeting and performance areas.
  • The School contains 18 university-standard laboratories, break out spaces for research, a 25-metre pool, a strength and conditioning suite, a rooftop running track and a double-height sports hall.

Alongside regular visits from artists and photographers, there are also specialist workshops, gallery trips and location shoots throughout the year.

Design and Technology: Design and Technology at Brighton College prepares our pupils to become critical thinkers, problem solvers and young entrepreneurs.
