Nursery
The environment at Bickley Park offers open-ended resources and an emergent learning approach which sees children choosing to pursue interests and building on their skills and talents. We invite children to join us in the adventure, honouring their personalities and challenging them in ways which engage and excite; our children love learning.Each space is designed to be a home from home, calming and comfortable. We believe that environments should be carefully considered, the abundance of bright colours and plastic toys can be overwhelming for children, so we use a muted palette and natural resourcing, all presented in an aesthetic way to stimulate the senses and respect the child.
Pre-Prep
Although most of the boys start with us in Nursery, for those who join in Reception, a warm welcome awaits with an approach that combines an inspiring academic and creative curriculum with passionate teaching, outstanding pastoral care and exciting outdoor learning opportunities.Careful transition from Reception to Years 1 and 2 ensures that your son’s learning continues apace with small class sizes which are crucial to support all boys in a broad and balanced curriculum with a strong emphasis on Literacy and Numeracy.
Prep
A wide range of opportunities will open up to them – from representing their school at sport to taking new subjects that stretch their abilities. Our boys continue to benefit from highly favourable staff:pupil ratios and enjoy specialist teaching in Humanities, Modern Foreign Languages, Science, Drama, Art, Music, Forest School, PE and Games, Swimming, Computing, Engineering and DT as well as Reasoning.
Breakfast Club
A breakfast club is available for our pupils, for 3 ½ years old and above, from 7.00am, the cost of which is £6.80 per day.
After School Care
After school care is available until 6.00pm for Pre-Prep pupils aged between 3 and 7 years old and also until 6.00pm for Prep Department boys. If you wish your child to attend after school care, please email [email protected]. The cost is £4.60 per half hour or part of and will be charged on the next term’s invoice.
