York Leisure Centre is a modern and spacious fitness and leisure hub located within the York Stadium Leisure Complex. Swimming Pools: We have three swimming pools, with activities to cater for everyone. The 6 lane 25m Main Pool is programmed for: Swim for Fitness (lane swimming), Swim for All, Swimming Lessons, Swimming Club hire. The Learner Pool is an ideal pool to learn and gain water confidence with a max depth of 0.9m.
Toddlers Pool Splash Pad: The Toddlers Pool Splash Pad is shallow water paddling pool with interactive water play area with a slide for children under 8 years old. Perfect for water babies and water confidence building.
Sports Hall: The 4-court sports hall with spectator viewing, can host a variety of activities including Toddler’s world, Badminton, Table tennis, Basketball and many more. It is also available for hire.
Gym: Our fully equipped, spacious, 100 station gym offers a range of fitness equipment suitable for everyone. All areas have the most up-to-date Technogym equipment and our friendly fitness instructors are on hand to guide you through your workout and offer advice if required.
Studios: Whatever your fitness goals, you will enjoy working out in our large dance studio and separate group cycle studio. With our varied programme of classes including virtual classes, which ever you chose you will be sure to get your heart pumping whatever your age and ability.
Clip N’ Climb: Fun interactive indoor climbing arena where adults and kids can enjoy some healthy action-packed fun. No climbing experience is necessary as a full safety briefing and equipment is given before you start.
Play Park: There is plenty to keep children of all ages entertained in our new play park. Our brand new play park features slides, climbing towers and is free to use. The Kilimanjaro is an awesome play challenge, with climbing challenges, balancing activities, net bridge and a tall curvy slide.
Soft Play: Soft Play Sessions include both Toddlers World Bouncer and our inflatable Jungle Run Obstacle Course. Slide, bounce, push, and jump – the jungle's calling! Navigate your way through the heart-pounding adventure as you conquer the Bish Bash, navigate through the rollers and ascend the steps of victory to reach the slide at the finish line.
Outdoor Fitness Zone: Our brand new designated outdoor fitness zone is the perfect location for our range of outdoor classes. Our outdoor fitness zone gives our members the opportunity to train outside in a safe and secure area. Top up your vitamin D, breathe in the fresh air and let’s achieve your fitness goals together!
