The Yard is an indoor soft play centre & cafe dreamed up by two local mums who craved a place that accommodated & appealed to adults and children alike. We see the yard as a bit of a sanctuary for families, a welcoming safe place to relax and play with your children.
Children have the freedom to explore the large play structure safely in their own environment, under 2’s have a designated space to explore and you grown ups can enjoy fresh coffee, grilled cheese sandwiches & sweet treats sourced from local suppliers, we’d love to see you.

Food & Drinks: Food and drink is high on the agenda at the Yard. We pick our suppliers very carefully and go local and ethical wherever we can. We can make all our sandwiches on gluten free bread and have dairy free options too. We try to provide gluten and dairy free cake too!

Birthday Party Details

Exclusive Hire £375: Our ‘Exclusive Use’ package is for up to 35 people maximum, this includes both adults and children but it is up to you to ensure a safe ratio of adults to children – so for example you could decide to have 15 children and 20 adults or 20 children and 15 adults.
Summer Snug Party £150: Our summer snug party hire is a great, cheaper option for a Yard party during the summer months. It gives you reserved use of our snug area for up to 20 people including a maximum of 12 children. You will have this space to yourselves throughout any of our normal play sessions and you can relax whilst the children play. The price includes a meal deal for each child (up to 12 max). We will place our cute shopping baskets on the table for children to select one of our meal deals from the fridge which includes a sandwich and 3 treats, plus a cup of squash which we will provide at the table.
Basic Snug Hire £100: Our basic snug hire (£70) gives you reserved use of our snug area for up to 12 people total (adults and children) - this is in the grassed seating area tucked behind our baby area. You will have this space to yourselves throughout any of our normal play sessions, we will provide jugs of squash on the table in this area and you can relax whilst the children play. During this time the café will be open as usual for you to order refreshments and you are welcome to bring a cake if you are there for a celebration.

We are in Stamford and space is limited (buts that why we love this crazy little town). We have a handful of spaces during the week, which doubles over the weekend. We strongly recommend parking in the nearby pay and display car park (PE9 2PN) which is a 2min walk away and costs around £1.50 for up to 2 hours.
