The National Stud is a unique Thoroughbred breeding centre located in the heart of Newmarket, between the Rowley Mile and July Racecourses. Depending on the season, visitors may see mares with foals, yearlings, and stallions, including those housed in the historic Duke of Roxburghe Stallion Unit. Other activities include learning about the history of the stud, the Foaling Unit where over 100 foals are born each year, and the education programmes offering entry-level to management courses.
