    • Day 3: Riders prepare their horse and embark on a picnic ride lasting around 2 hours, traversing varied terrain before returning to the farm.

The morning concludes with a long canter up a grassy bridleway. The afternoon ride meanders back home, followed by settling the horses and evening relaxation.
    • Day 3: Riders explore the Upper Ceiriog Trail to the village of Llanarmon Dyffryn Ceiriog for pub lunch, continuing along trails for final canters. Evening includes a gentle walk and sunset.

    • At the T-junction, turn right onto Willow Street (B4580) towards Llansillin.
    • Continue uphill for 2 miles to Old Racecourse Common, then turn right at the sign for Ffordd Careg Y Big.
    • After 1 mile, at the T-junction, turn right, then 50 yards later turn left following Llechrydau signs.
    • Continue 1¾ miles past forestry and stone walls.
    • At the sharp right bend, bear left downhill through the farmyard and gate.
    • Continue 1 mile over moorland and a cattle grid; Springhill Farm is on the right. Riding entrance is second; accommodation is first.
  • From Wrexham, Chester, Liverpool, Manchester, and the North: Not suitable for lorries
    • Continue to Chirk on the A483, taking brown signs for Chirk and Ceiriog Valley.
    • At the next roundabout, take the first exit into Chirk.
    • Turn right by the church for Glyn Ceiriog.
    • After 6 miles, in Glyn Ceiriog, turn left at the mini roundabout (1st exit), pass the post office, cross the bridge, then turn immediately right at the speed de-restriction sign into a narrow lane.
    • Head uphill for 2 miles; continue straight at the junction for another ½ mile to arrive at Springhill Farm (left). Accommodation entrance is first; riding entrance is second.
  • From Llangollen (A5 & North West Wales): Not suitable for lorries; includes 25% gradients
    • Alternative: Continue via Chirk (adds 9 miles, avoids steep gradients).
    • Travel east on A5, turn right towards Green Bank, then left into Hill Street (Plas Newydd).
    • Take the second lane on the right signed Glyn Ceiriog.
    • Continue steeply uphill 1.2 miles, then turn right for 1.3 miles to a crossroads with a farmhouse.
    • Turn left downhill into Glyn Ceiriog.
    • At the mini roundabout, take the second exit signed Selattyn, pass the post office, cross the bridge, and turn immediately right into a narrow lane.
    • Head uphill 2 miles; continue straight at the junction for ½ mile to Springhill Farm (left).
  • Directions for Lorries
    • Head south on A5/A483 past Chirk.
    • At the second roundabout after the second bridge, take the 3rd exit onto Station Rd towards Weston Rhyn.
    • Continue over mini roundabout toward Selattyn.
    • After 0.4 miles, take the second left for 1.4 miles, then turn right for 0.5 miles and right again toward Selattyn.
    • Continue through Selattyn and into Wales for 2.9 miles.
    • Turn slightly left onto the lane rising above the road; after 0.7 miles, bear right and continue 1.8 miles.
    • At the junction, turn left; Springhill Farm will be on the left after 0.7 miles.
