  • Hythe Station: The station at Hythe is on the banks of the Royal Military Canal, which runs with the line as the train approaches the terminus. Hythe retains the central locomotive shunting line. It is worth waiting to watch the locomotive that has just hauled your train reverse down this line and marshal itself onto the turntable, and then return to the train ready for the journey back towards New Romney.
  • Dymchurch Station: Dymchurch sees its fair share of visitors, some enjoying a break at one of the nearby Caravan Parks, keen to soak up the atmosphere of a traditional seaside town which boasts a glorious stretch of beach amongst other local landmarks.
  • St Mary's Bay Station: During some timetables this station is a request stop. If you wish to alight here please alert the station staff before you board the train. To ‘flag down’ a train here, please raise your hand as it approaches the station.
  • Romney Warren Station: Trains only call at Romney Warren Halt on selected special event days which are separately advertised. Special stops by prior arrangement are possible for Groups wishing to visit the Romney Marsh Visitor Centre.
  • New Romney Station: New Romney Station is the headquarters of the railway and being 8 and a half miles by train from Hythe station and 5 miles by train from Dungeness station, it is the perfect mid-line stopping off point.
  • Romney Sands Station: This is now the only station between New Romney and Dungeness. In the past there has been a station at Greatstone-on-Sea and the halts at Lade and The Pilot.
  • Dungeness Station: The RH&DR began running to Dungeness is 1928 when Southern Railway was also operating in the area. Signs of the old railway are the cottages that have been made from old carriages.
