Riverside Paint a Pot is a fun, family-friendly pottery painting studio situated by the River Aire at Queens Mill in Castleford. The studio provides an easy way to explore your creative side with friendly, qualified staff on hand to guide you through every step of creating your pottery masterpiece. Owner Ruth is a level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant with over 10 years experience working with children and special needs.

The studio offers Creative Workshops tailored to each season, Mini-Potters sessions combining storytelling with pottery painting for little ones, and monthly Late Sessions for adults 18+ featuring Prosecco and paint evenings. All sessions include refreshments and expert guidance to help visitors discover their creative abilities.

Pottery prices start from £3, with contact required for full pricing information. Birthday parties offer three packages: Heron Package at £12 per painter, Swan Package at £15 per painter, and Claytastic Package at £16 per potter, plus a Custom Package option.

Creative Workshops: At Riverside Paint A Pot, we are passionate about offering an exciting array of creative workshops all year round. Our workshops are carefully tailored to each season, ensuring that you can immerse yourself in a world of fun and unique experiences.
Mini-Potters: Get creative with your little ones at our Mini-Potters sessions. In this group we read a short story followed by painting a pot related to the story, then get crafty sticking, cutting and coloring their own masterpiece. Tea, coffee, juice and a healthy snack is included for your Mini-Potters.
Late Sessions 18+: Enjoy an evening of relaxing, socialising and creating at our monthly late night Prosecco and paint evenings. Our late sessions are held once a month and tickets are available online and instore subject to availability. A glass of prosecco per person. A mini-buffet of Fingerfood/specialty cheeses.

Enjoy a unique birthday party at Riverside Paint A Pot! With 3 Different packages to choose from, you're sure to find something you like! All packages include invitations, juice, tea and coffee, and an exclusive gift for the birthday child/adult.

Heron Package: Choose from the small animals and figures. £12 per painter. Minimum 10 Painters.
Swan Package: Choose from a wider range of pots such as word plaques, fairies, medium size pots. £15 per painter. Minimum 10 painters.
Claytastic Package: Party goers can create with clay, their very own cup or bowl. Minimum 8 guests, maximum 12. £16 per potter.
Custom Package: If you'd like to create your own party package please fill out the 'Custom Party' form and we'll get back to you as soon as possible if we can accommodate your requests!
