Cold Water Swimming: Cold water swimming sessions are available on weekends from 9am to 12noon throughout the winter season, offering swimmers an invigorating experience in chilly waters. While specific temperatures can vary, it’s always a refreshing way to blow away those winter cobwebs! You don’t have to be a seasoned cold water swimmer to join in this is open to all, and anyone can try it.
Swim Courses and Training for Adults: In partnership with Swim Coach Alec Richardson, the lido offers a variety of swim courses ranging from learning front crawl to more intense swim-fit training. These courses are held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings between April and July, and again in September and October. The courses are booked in blocks ahead of time and fill up quickly. Introduction to Cold Water Swimming: Alec, a keen cold water swimmer, runs "Introduction to Cold Water" sessions during the winter months.
