Jesus Green Swimming Pool is a historic lido located on Jesus Green in Cambridge. Opened in 1923, it is one of the few remaining lidos built in the 1920s open-air pools designed to accommodate a variety of activities beyond swimming. Unusually, the pool is much longer than it is wide, a design intended to mimic swimming in the nearby river. The Lido is a 100-yard outdoor pool that is open to the public all year round, typically from May to September for public swimming, although access is now available year-round. The pool is unheated, and while wetsuits are not compulsory, they are strongly recommended when water temperatures fall below 14 degrees Celsius.
