Huntly Nordic and Outdoor Centre is Britain’s only dedicated Nordic facility specializing in cross-country skiing and roller skiing, located in Huntly, Aberdeenshire. Run by Aberdeenshire Council and upgraded with Big Lottery funding in 2004, this unique all-weather facility provides professional tuition at all levels from complete novices to experienced recreational skiers. The centre operates year-round offering both cross-country skiing and summer roller skiing activities.
The centre offers comprehensive Nordic skiing courses and private tuition on dedicated all-weather terrain and roller ski tracks, with equipment hire available for groomed trails in nearby Clashindarroch forest during winter. Activities include mountain bike hire and tubing on the ski slope for added variety. Course options range from 1-hour fun sessions to intensive 2-day Classic ski weekends, catering to both adults and children at all skill levels.
The centre operates Monday and Friday 9am-4pm, Tuesday 9am-6pm, Saturday 9am-5pm, and Sunday 10am-4pm, with closures on Wednesday and Thursday. Ski Hire starts from £19.25 for Adults Full Day & £13.60 for / Juniors Full Day.

Come and learn to Cross Country ski year round and Roller ski in the summer months. We offer Nordic skiing courses and private tuition year round on our all weather terrain and roller ski track. In the winter, when we have snow, ski equipment can be hired and taken up to the groomed trails in the Clashindarroch forest. We offer a variety of courses for adults and children, from complete beginners to experienced skiers. From 1 hour fun courses to our 2 day Classic ski weekends.
