Description
The Home of Rest for Old Horses is a peaceful sanctuary located on the Isle of Man, dedicated to giving retired or injured horses, ponies, and donkeys a loving home. Set across 90 acres, it currently houses over sixty horses and eleven donkeys. As a Manx Registered Charity, it has helped hundreds of animals live out their later years in comfort.
Visitors can meet animals like Moose, Morse, and Lady up close and learn their unique stories. The centre also features a lovely café with homemade cakes and a gift shop for visitors to enjoy. Families and children can enjoy interacting with the animals while understanding their care and background.
Entry to the sanctuary is free for all visitors. Birthday parties are also welcome and can be arranged by contacting the centre in advance.
