Pottery Painting: Book a table & pay for the items you choose to paint on the day. Items start at £5 and there's no additional studio fee. We also hold Thursday evening 'Grown - ups evenings' to various times throughout the year. We have plates, mugs, jugs, vases, teapots, pots and trinkets dishes, ornaments, animals, figures, money boxes, fairies, dragons, picture frames, seasonal items .... the list is endless.
Workshops: Choose from a range of clay, painting, needle felting and glass workshops to take part in at the studio. These relaxed sessions are relaxed, informal and fun, and you don't need any previous experience.
Keepsake: Any flat pottery surface is perfect for a painted print and whether it's your baby, child or dog, we're happy to help capture those precious prints. At Doodles, we understand the importance of capturing precious memories of children & babies, who seem to grow up too fast, and our canine friends who truly become important part of our families.
Pottery Wheel: Pottery wheel experience with Masie the Touring Potter. Taster sessions for complete beginners and advanced workshops for those who've already tried their hand at throwing. Maisie will be visiting with a mixture of beginners wheel taster sessions and advanced workshops to make a mug and coaster.

Children's Pottery Painting parties

We hold pottery painting birthday parties in our studio during opening hours. Each painter gets to choose what they'd like to paint and the birthday child gets a plate with their handprint and their guests fingerprints on too as a present from us.

How does a studio party work?

Decided on a date
Our parties are held at 10.30am & 2.30pm at weekends.
They last 1 1/2 hours.
Arrive 5 mins before your chosen time on the day of your party.
You will have a special party table decorated with balloons and your own set of paints to use.
We help your guests choose a piece of pottery to paint from our party range.
We explain how to paint your pieces.
We capture the hand & fingerprints for the birthday plate.
If you'd like to bring a cake & drinks with you, you can have them at your table when you've finished painting.
Collect your glazed and fired party pieces to distribute to your guests a week later.

The cost is £175 for up to 10 painters. Please contact us if you would like more than 10 painters. We take a £30 deposit at the time of booking and the balance is paid on the day of the party.
