We have a huge range of ceramics to choose from to paint. We have two different paint options, you can choose to have your piece glazed and fired, or you can use acrylic paint which we then seal with acrylic varnish and optional glitter. Acrylic is a great option if you’d like to take your piece away that day, or you can come back a week later to collect your glazed and fired piece. It’s suitable for all ages - we do hand and foot prints from babies upwards, and adults and children alike enjoy painting our pottery range.
Handprints and Footprints: Our staff are on hand to help you create a keepsake of your child (or furry friend!) at any age, with our handprints and footprints on crockery and tiles. Simply choose what ceramic you would like as your keepsake and we will help you to take a painted impression of your wee ones, ensuring you get a beautiful finish (even if they’ve got tickly feet!) After we’ve taken the prints, we can write a special message or simply your child’s name and age as a record of that moment in time.

At Cafe Ceramico we run children’s birthday parties which make hosting simple and fun for you. You will be welcomed and invited over to the party corner where your child and their friends choose a ceramic to paint from our range of party animals, and are guided through the process of painting by our friendly team. They then enjoy spending time in the soft play jumping around and working up an appetite for their freshly prepared buffet of party food. The only thing you need to provide is a birthday cake and party bags if you want them!

Birthday parties cost £19 per head (minimum number of children is eight), for which each child will take home their own painted keepsake of the day, sealed with gloss varnish and (optional) glitter by our staff.
